We are still here and still fighting this uphill battle to put an end to the Veteran suicide epidemic in our country. This blog post is meant to inform everyone about what we have planned this month and to encourage our community to support our tireless efforts and join us in this worthwhile war.
Wednesday (04/12/17) we will hold our regular open door policy to our community at large and invite all in for some family friendly Arts and Crafts. We have supplies galore here and just need your creative spark!
Thursday (04/13/17 - Thomas Jefferson Birthday) looks to be a day packed with high energy and busy, busy, busy! From about Noon to 3PM, we have two separate events here at 22 Headquarters for you to enjoy. Megan Schwarting the 'Queen" from Kush Creams will bless us with her regular monthly visit and bring all that Kush love we have all grown to love. At the same time we will be streaming the Cannabis Alliance meeting on our big screen. ($10 viewing fee required for non-members of the Cannabis Alliance.)
This Saturday's Event (04/15/17) is up-in-the-air still. We are supposed to be seeing our fellow 22 member Carlos Mullen, but I have no information on what he is planning on presenting or confirmation on his presenting yet. I apologize for this scheduling SNAFU and I am working on it.
Sunday (04/16/17 - Easter Sunday) brings another double-whammy to HQ. At 9AM it is the bi-monthly Community Service of cleaning the downtown Artisan Well 'Park" and since it is Easter Sunday, what could be better than letting the youngsters go on an Egg Hunt!?. Please join us in this act of fellowship and community pride.
That is it for this week! Thank you all for your support. Please, if you haven't already done so, head over to our DONATE! page and give your support in a much needed and meaningful way. A small, monthly, tax deductible donation can mean all the difference to our traumatized Veterans. They have earned it in blood! https://www.twenty22many-olympia.org/donate
